Ashton Francis is an MC, an artist, and founder of the collective What Matters Most (whtmtrsmst.com). He is also one of my unlikeliest of friends, given our age difference and different life stories, but we met on a shared balcony when we were next door neighbours, and had many, many conversations like the one you’re about to listen to. Ashton is a deep thinker, and an authentic artist with a true sense of self. He talks about getting his start in music after a near tragedy, being brought up in an artistic household, not second-guessing, and recognizing what’s unique and special in yourself.
