Barry and Julia discuss why they heck they even chose to talk about this movie, who really makes the decisions for this podcast and their lingering regrets. Barry goes into detail on the sitcom nature of this film versus the first one, "Three Men and a Baby" and all of the ways this script has no tension or stakes. We talk about Tom Selleck, how he was the original Indiana Jones and why his character never got together with Sylvia until 6 years later! We find the funny through all the nonsense and hope you enjoy!
This is Season 3, Episode 23. (Episode 127)

The fact that this film was even made, much less with Bruce Willis, is unbelievable. The only version available is the unrated directors cut. Good luck finding the original theatrical version. (If you do, Barry is interested in knowing where you found it.) We discuss the history of erotic thrillers, how Bruce Willis was able to succeed even though he made films like this, and all the ways this film goes over the top and just keeps going. Willis plays the worst psychoanalyst who, after a client kills herself he ends up stealing his colleagues therapy group. We get into the details of the therapy group, the longest sex scene in cinema, what makes this film gratuitous and why is could have been a comedy.
Cans! It's just CANS! We dive into the 1994 action film, Speed. We discuss Keanu Reeves playing a cop again, right after Point Break, his chemistry with Sandra Bullock and Jeff Daniels, if Dennis Hopper was the right choice for a villain, the crazy similarities between the movie and the OJ Simpson freeway chase and endless jokes about cans.
This is Season 3, Episode 20. (Episode 124)

It's been 25 years since "The Sixth Sense" and even if you know the twist it's a solid film with Bruce Willis giving a tour de force performance. Prepare yourself for spoilers if you've never seen it! We discuss Donny vs Mark Wahlberg, the movies of M. Night Shyamalan, our first experience with this film, if the movie plays fair with its premise and what this movie says about the after life.
