This week we unpack the fallout from Farmer Wants a Wife’s most controversial choice yet — did Jason choose the wrong woman by picking Poppy over Logan - or was the real mistake choosing anyone at all? We discuss the rumours around Jason and Bene, plus what happens when reality TV relationships meet real life.
We also dive into MAFS groom Grayson McIvor’s emotional dating update, why his honesty struck a chord, and castmate Rebecca’s vulnerable post-show struggles as she opens up about work struggles, friendship fall outs and life after the experiment.
Plus, we recap the return of the OG Housewives with Orange County’s 20th season – we’re vibing Vicki and Shannon’s Golden Girls double act - and question why on earth The Valley keeps harping on a three-year-old incident. Finally, we finish with a confronting Storytime on the new Rolf Harris documentary and the disturbing legacy of a man once seen as an Australian icon.

As Farmer Wants a Wife limps into its final week, we dive into what everyone has been talking about this season - the lack of actual farming shown on screen and whether the show has lost its way. Plus, we look at the reported pay realities facing reality TV contestants and ask whether the cost of appearing on these shows is becoming too high.
We also unpack Liz McGraw’s shock mystery exit from Real Housewives of Rhode Island and the messy background surrounding her departure, including the legal drama involving her close friend Dino Guilmette.
We revisit the impact of reality TV fame and discuss the career fallout some contestants have faced after appearing on shows like MAFS and Farmer Wants a Wife.
And finally, we reflect on the powerful documentary about Australian swimmer Scott Miller and remember his ex-wife Charlotte Dawson’s legacy with a personal anecdote, plus look at the pressures of fame, and the darker side of reality TV villain edits.

This week there’s growing sympathy for Farmer Wants a Wife star Jason — who really can’t catch a break. It has resurfaced that he was allegedly caught up in a fake pregnancy scam last year, where police allege forged documents were used to obtain money over a period of months.
The matter is still before the courts, but it raises wider questions around vetting and what happens off-screen when reality TV storylines spill into real life.
We also unpack the other farmers, including Alex’s oh so very obvious connection with Eddie, the surprising Miranda support, and what producers may or may not be signalling through what’s actually being shown.
Then we move into Maternal Instinct, the Netflix documentary everyone is still talking about, and the broader story of Taylor Parker - including post-trial behaviour, media framing, and how much context is often left out of true crime storytelling.
Over in Bravo land, Summer House continues to evolve with West Wilson’s exit, Amanda Batula’s shifting storyline, and what producers really look for when a character becomes “too chaotic to continue.” And the question of why so many women continually fall for West.
In Storytime we remember the early days in Sydney covering US Survivor and later at the filming of Australian Celebrity Survivor in Vanuatu and how reality TV has transformed from pure observation into something far more constructed, shaped, and narrative-driven over time.
And finally we wrap with America’s Sweethearts, where Aussie-Kiwi Faith Ward becomes an unexpected breakout star, alongside questions around control, PR, Kelly and Judy’s nitpicking, and how much influence production companies should really have over talent.

Welcome back to a brand-new season of So Many Receipts. This week we break down the growing backlash against Miranda on Farmer Wants a Wife and ask whether we’re watching a genuine personality clash or a classic villain edit unfolding in real time. We also dig into our theory about the mysterious “Number 5 Woman” - the contestant producers often position as the season’s wildcard.
Plus, we unpack the strange case of missing Farmer John, the contestant who was announced, promoted, and then quietly disappeared before the season even aired.
In Bonus Tea, we dive into the jaw-dropping jailhouse behaviour of convicted killer Taylor Parker, featured in Netflix’s Maternal Instinct - from bizarre letters and shifting narratives to claims made behind bars that never made it into the documentary.
Reality TV breakdowns, producer playbooks, and the stories behind the edits — let’s get into it.

This is the big one where we unpack the season’s biggest mysteries, worst fashion fails, and look at what’s next for the brides and grooms coming off this truly crazy season.
From secret confessions and unseen drama to the most baffling puzzles (seriously - what did happen at Gia’s birthday party?), we count down the season’s biggest unanswered questions. Then, we dive into the most unforgettable fashion moments - some iconic, but mostly questionable.
Finally, we sort the entire cast into winners and losers. Who’s thriving post-show, who’s facing backlash, and who might quietly disappear when the influencer deals don’t land?
It was a polarising season - compelling, chaotic, and at times completely toxic. So where does MAFS go next?

A new interview with Danny recently dropped, and it’s too wild not to cover. He’s now revealing the moment he says his relationship with Bec was really over, allegedly involving a megaphone incident and being locked in a room during homestays - something never shown on air.
Danny also claims he actually wrote “leave” twice, but was encouraged by producers to stay, as he and Bec were central to the drama. He says key parts of his storyline were never aired, including his pattern of leaving relationships too soon.
In a separate segment, he ranks the brides by appearance in a photo challenge and does not put Bec first. He then makes further claims about what did and didn’t happen between him and Bec, with both sides continuing to contradict each other. What a mess!
Team Bec, Team Danny or Team neither? The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

This week, we unpack a chaotic episode of the MAFS Unleashed show, featuring a leaked hot mic moment with Alissa caught arguing with ex-groom Ryan Donnelly and her new boyfriend Nathan Ryles.
The awkward audio, buried at the end of the show, reveals tensions boiling over as Ryan accuses Alissa of being rude, Nathan tries (and fails) to mediate, and the situation escalates fast.
We also break down the final Stan reunion episode, where Danny attempts to take accountability—but ends up deflecting blame, sparking criticism over his “apology tour.”
Plus, Scott’s “Australia’s sweetheart” label is put to the test as he clashes with Bec and Chris over off-screen comments and a controversial live stream.
With key cast members sidelined and major questions left unanswered, we ponder whether this year’s season was too complicated to keep up with.

Shell’s back just in time for the final MAFS stretch – with renewed energy to cross the finish line! A quick Adelaide trip for Fleur didn’t deliver any cast sightings, but there’s hope we’ll still see Alissa’s Adelaide Airport billboard later this year (plus we might make a possible stop at Sam’s gym).
This week it was all about Danny and the unseen insults footage which has flipped public opinion. His harsh comments about Bec - and later Steph – see in unseen Stan footage have sparked backlash, with many now sympathising with Bec despite her flaws. Cue his confusing public apology.
Elsewhere, Rachel revealed she and Steve did sleep together - once after final vows. However he ended things soon after. She’s since faced more public embarrassment about finger gate at her local train station while he’s stayed quiet. Oh dear!
Meanwhile, it was rumoured that David is now dating his “backup bride” Crystal Diaz. A podcast chat suggested she was more impressed with Danny anyway - and didn’t seem overly excited about David.
With shifting alliances and messy reveals, the final weeks are delivering peak chaos!

David beat Alissa to the breakup and her reaction was priceless. But the real twist? David basically predicted their entire relationship a year earlier in a now-deleted video, spotting red flags from day one, and prophesising the end. Spooky.
Over on Stan, Gia’s appearance was messy AF. She denied speaking to backup groom James until receipts proved she’d called him (and sent bikini pics) right after her fight with Scott. The hosts called her out, Danny celebrated in the comments, and viewers were divided.
Unseen footage also revealed Bec had set Gia up at the dinner party, flipping the narrative on Scott’s “controlling” behaviour.
Meanwhile, Chris appears to be backpedalling after distancing himself from Gia on Stan - suddenly flooding social media with love for her and seriously filtered pics.
And in exclusive off-screen tea, we speak to a friend of the guy Chris allegedly ghosted to go on MAFS … then asked him to stage pap photos after filming to pretend they were together. Yikes!

This episode is messy AF! We unpack a wild TikTok Live featuring Awhina, Bec and Rebecca where a woman named Tyanna claims she recently hooked up with Danny … and says he had no “Dannaconda.” LOL.
The timing couldn’t be worse going into Final Vows with Bec still proclaiming she “loves Danny”. Plus, Bec’s hasty exit a few minutes prior to Tyanna joining … coincidence? Hmm.
Plus was it just us or did Bec look exhausted on the Live? Given Danny’s allegedly sleazy recent messages to women, we’re not surprised Bec’s six-month post-show façade was utterly draining for her. Plus, Bec confirms she lost her job after filming because how do you return to spreadsheets after that edit?
Rebecca says she was made redundant and adds that Steve also slid into women’s DMS. Plus listen to the clanger she dropped on the Live. Oops!
We ponder why “traditional men” often go for younger ladies and theorise maybe Steve thinks he looks younger than 50. FYI his cousin David Beckham is the same age and there’s no comparison.
Finally, sobbing Scott and Gia and why long-distance matches on MAFS are basically doomed.
