This week, we give a brief update for So Psych-illogical's analysis through Season One of Psych, as well as our reactions to the trailer for the imminent movie Psych 3: This is Gus. We look forward to adding your input into episodes for the back half of the season, so contact us at [email protected]
In this aftercast episode, we communicate our new found appreciation for this episode of Psych. We also inform each other about various revelations from recent episodes, Susie shares her experience with Jaws, and we bust out the details behind one of the hottest videos of the 80's because we ain't afraid of no ghosts.
This week, we give up the ghost and haunt the talk instead. We take note of all the ways our lads do and don't communicate, we get a little emotional with Lassie, and we watch as Gus asserts himself in the agency. Of course you can expect the usual repartee, along with some fun references, a little six degrees of Psych, and favourite quotes.
In this aftercast episode, Susie and Lizzie discuss their personal rocket launching stories, civil war reenactment stories, and touring Washington, DC stories. We also attempt to decide who would play us in a Susie and Lizzie version of "Psych".
This week, we have a civil discussion about all things Weekend Warriors. In this sixth episode of Psych, the So-Psych-Illogical gals break down the sublter things between the skirmishes; Shawn and Henry, why Juliet seems to come to the rescue so often and all the little things that make this episode so deliciously rewatchable. Of course, you can expect edifying fun facts, witty repartee and our favorite quotes thrown onto the field.
In this episode, we discuss various cat myths and use some So Psych-illogical thinking to "prove" some our favorites true! The origins of why cats have 9 lives is left a mystery. We also consider the importance of reaching out to a friend or counselor, when help is needed. Unlike cats, humans don't have a righting reflex, so we often need help to land on our feet.
This week, we land on our feet as Shawn and Gus's working partnership settles onto firm ground. We discuss this process as well as the third associate in the case, with whom Gus goes toe to toe bean, Little Boy Cat. Another key support role is more intensely discussed as we begin to truly understand how valuable Buzz McNab is to the Psych team. Fan favourite fun facts and references are thrown in along with conversational hijinks as usual.
In this aftercast, we discuss the police codes from this fourth Psych episode, (which causes Susie to think doing voices is a good idea....) legal techinicalities and try to decide our official "stanchion" on an unrevolved plot point. Crimes will be revealed and hearts will be broken (or maybe just Lizzie's!)
This week, we stakeout the fourth episode of the season and take a closer look at Gus's strange fancies when it comes to the ladies. We also examine the partner relationship being established between Lassie and Jules, and take note of Shawn's ease at befriending criminals. As usual we throw in some Psych fun facts, our own special blend of banter, and favourite quotes.
In this aftercast episode, we discuss the origins of hide and Go seek, possible solutions for finding diamonds rather than the thievery and murder seen in the third episode of season one Psych, and you can hear Lizzie's "fake American accent".
