Jimmy's first pick for the festive season is this modern retelling of A Christmas Carol from Richard Donner. Does this childhood favourite hold up for our Scottish host or has he found more things to annoy him this time round? It's Jimmy, so who knows? Taking a break from Thanksgiving movies this year, Jimmy has decided to be patriotic and wants to celebrate St. Andrew's Day with this Scottish classic. Which Jen is watching for the first time. Was she charmed by this teen romantic comedy or was she baffled by the accents? Or both? Or neither? Contains very strong language.

It's a quick one this week as the pair had very limited time so just as well there isn't really much to talk about anyway. It's November, so lets talk about the Halloween franchise! While Jimmy and Jen take a two week break, enjoy this discussion on the final movie in David Gordon Green's trilogy that's also the end of a four movie arc and the latest movie in the Halloween franchise. They also spoil some of the Friday the 13th franchise and one of them decides if they actually like this movie or not, by episode's end. Contains strong language.

Well, we couldn't do good movies for all of October, right? Well, we say that but neither host actually hate this silly puntastic 90 minute live action cartoon. They also talk about Jen's dislike of one of the movie's stars, guilty pleasures, the upcoming Wednesday Netflix show and disagree about acting quality in horror movies.  Contains strong language.

It's Poltergeist time! This is Jen's pick and while this movie is one of our host's favourite horror movies, the other thinks it's fine. Strap in, folks, there be mild disagreements. They talk about the Poltergeist "curse" (how could they not?), Joss Whedon's Firefly and announce what movie is next... Contains strong language.

It's the week of Jimmy's birthday, so he has picked a movie from his year of birth and since it's spooky month, they're talking about Carrie. This is a movie that both hosts love but only one has read the book. They discuss that, the remakes and Jimmy talks about his experience of his very first Comic-Con visit. Contains strong language.
