Welcome back, friends and family. This week on the podcast we continue our journey of horror films through the decades as we talk about the 1940s. My wife, Sarah Beth, and I sat together and discussed how horror was affected by World War II and the formulaic style of films in the early part of the decade. We talked about a few films that we watched related to the era and we also investigate what inspired some of the films based on the culture surrounding them.
