I might be biased, but this one is definitely my favorite interview to date Not only is it a pleasure to have a personal friend on the show, but her raw take on marriage will blow your mind! Her open-minded perspective challenges our traditional views on relationships, family, marriage, and divorce. She has experienced the absolute bliss of dating all the way to the brink of divorce and made it back again. One of my favorite things she says in this interview is, "Fight for your right to divorce." You'll have to watch it to see what she means - but it's POWERFUL. This is a real momma, a real wife, a real business owner sharing her life with you in hopes that it will help at least one person live a better life.
Bethany and Paul (her hubby) are delightful human beings that enrich anyone's life they come in contact with and I'm so proud to know them. They own a cabin rental business in the depths of gorgeous Reliance, Tennessee. If you're looking for a romantic trip to take with your partner, you need to book now. I can personally vouch that the Hiwassee River and hiking in the Cherokee National Forest are natural wonders anyone shouldn't miss. Stay with Bethany and Paul, and you will have a trip worth remembering.

Andrew and Ashley are the epitome of a Southern couple romance with a successful entrepreneur twist. These two met online a few years ago, fell deeply in love, and decided life was too short not to live the dream. So, they quit their corporate jobs and started a business around what 90% of the world loves: COFFEE. Located in Knoxville, TN, they pedal all over the city bringing the joy of warm flavored brews wherever they go.
Their love for coffee and each other is why I asked them to be guests on my show. Couples come together over coffee - it's the perfect first date, the beverage that gets you through those late nights, the smell that wakes you up in the morning. It offers endless camaraderie that opens the avenue for love - and that's exactly what Andrew and Ashley have found.
Plus! It's the perfect stocking stuffer or Christmas gift for any coffee lover. PedalJava has a brew for everyone! This delightfully entertaining episode will have you laughing and sighing with endearment as we travel through time in Ashely and Andy's relationship - from their dating days to their EXTRAVAGANT proposal story or their romantic honeymoon, you'll want to pour yourself a cup of java as they regale you with all the stories.
Be sure to order your coffee now just in time for Christmas: http://www.pedaljava.com/beans

A pandemic is a scary thing. There are diseases to worry about; new rules and regulations; politics.... But what I think everyone seems to be the most afraid of is spending so much extra time with their partner. How ironic. The person you want to be with the most is the one that's driving your crazy the most. So, to help save marriages and lower the pandemic divorce rate, I did a video full of tips that can help you find peace and love in your relationship during the most suffocating times of your life.
Here's a brief survival guide on what to do (and what not to do) so that your marriage will survive this pandemic and you'll both come out thriving.

Welcome to video 1 in my small series of videos that showcase small businesses that offer a huge bang for your buck! I wanted to kill two birds with one stone here. First, I want to help those of you that have a difficult partner to buy for - sometimes gifts just aren't easy. Secondly, these episodes were/are produced during the Christmas season so you get great deals from some amazing people. And thirdly, I want to help support everyone through these weird pandemic times and this is my way of contributing. So, without further ado, let's learn more about shaving with quality products from the mast himself!
I'm so excited to introduce you to shaving extraordinaire J. Michael Cobb aka Dr. Mike. I met Dr. Mike at a local nerd convention here in Chattanooga about 3 years ago. I've been a geek my whole life and frequent this convention every year. He and his lovely wife were dressed in steampunk regalia and rockin' it! They're charming charismatic personalities just resonated - you can't help but immediately love them. At the time, my husband had JUST started using an old safety razor when shaving instead of the bix box multi-blades so I decided to grab a gift for him at Dr. Mike's booth. And I'm so glad I did! We've been avid patrons of his ever since. His products are of amazing quality; the service he offers his clients is unheard of in today's times - he really goes above and beyond; he's absolutely delightful to boot.
Fast forward to today. I want to share Dr. Mike with you because it's hard to go wrong with the gift of shaving - especially when the products smell and feel amazing. AND! He and his wife run this business together. Their relationship dynamic is one to be very proud of. I believe it's important to showcase that side of his business, too, which leads us to this cheery, fun, anecdotal episode about shaving escapades, delicious old-fashioneds, and fabulous products. Check it out! I know you'll fall in love with this couple just like I have!

This week, I'd like to introduce you to Anna Rova. Anna is a Femininity & Feminine Embodiment Coach helping successful women attract and keep a masculine man.
Anna and I discuss the importance of femininity, how women can balance their feminine and masculine energies, and what it means to be a woman in today's world. There're tons of impactful points that help you understand why women are still adjusting to the role we've made for ourselves in today's world - and how we're still molding that role. Gender roles are still concreted in our genetic make-up in that women still want to feel feminine, and men still want to feel masculine - especially in a relationship. It's how we maintain that balance that's changed, and that's what Anna and I ultimately discuss as an overall theme through this episode.
If you're curious and want to take things further, you can contact Anna or me via the link below:

Disclaimer: So this episode is a little unorthodox compared to my others. I hope you find this little glimpse into my real life amusing. There're no sound proof walls, no filters, no edits - just me talking to you in a real environment that is my life. There are (unplanned) dirt bikes, guard dogs, tiny waterfalls, and adorable furbabies mixed throughout this value pack episode just for your viewing pleasure.
Let me preface this by saying there is no such thing as a perfect person. However, I do believe you can find someone that's a perfect fit for you. All it takes is being confident in yourself, setting standards, and patience. Easy peasy right? -cue eye roll here-
Obviously, those things aren't always easy. That's why I go over 3 things that every woman wants in a perfect husband. These traits are customizable to your personal drive and interests, but they ARE necessary to have a strong progressive relationship that grows positively and lasts.
You'll notice I use Colby and I as examples a lot here, but mold this to fit you and your hubs (or future hubs). Trust me. You'll be so glad you did.
Until next time,
Kodi

If you've been on the internet AT ALL in the last 6 months, you've heard someone mention 'manifestation' and that somehow it connects you to your dream life. But what exactly IS manifestation and HOW do you manifest a dream life? Money doesn't grow on trees - it takes work to gain, right? So why are all these people talking about manifesting x ,y, or z?
Taking it a step further, what does this have to do with your marriage? If anyone could pull an 'I Dream of Genie' and manifest the perfect life, everyone would be doing. So why does everyone talk about it like it's a walk in the park? That's what Shannon and I discuss in this interview. We answer all of these questions and more as we dive into what manifestation really means. We go over the mindset work you need to do to be a manifester and create the marriage, life, and bank account you've always wanted.
Shannon Garrison Negi is an expert in removing money blocks for female entrepreneurs so they can attract ideal clients - but her tools can be applied to every aspect of life. We discuss how a manifestation mindset gets you through the toughest obstacles in life - including a spouse that thinks you've lost your mind.
We're giving away tools that are usually only reserved for our clients, so take advantage of this episode. There are golden nuggets in here that you shouldn't live without.
Until next time,

Just because you're married doesn't mean you stop dating your spouse! This simple fact is easy to overlook as we get lost in our day-to-day routines (see my video about breaking routines in the link below for more tips on this). We get so caught up in the patterns of life that we forget to change it up to keep the romance alive.
My goal for this episode is to help you break the monotony. I talk about three of my favorite (very IMPERFECT) dates with my husband and what I learned from each of them. I also give you ideas on how to think outside the box for creative date night ideas. If you're not good at coming up with new scenarios, I help you with that too. Some of the links below will give you a head start in the 'creative ideas arena'.
This is a fun episode. It's a little different than the formula I usually follow. It gives you more of a personal insight into who Colby and I are as a couple, and how we've grown in our relationship. Things aren't always perfect sunshine and roses - and for that I am SO thankful!
So grab some popcorn and glass of wine as you sit back and chuckle at our expense while gleaning some helping insight into dating your spouse!
Until next time,
Kodi

We're all guilty of tunnel vision. We tend to get lost in the weeds and forget the big picture when we're too close to a situation. That's especially common when we have to identify and ADMIT faults within ourselves. Picking out others' faults without recognizing our own is one of the TOP reasons why lots of relationships fail. Even if we're willing to work on personal development doesn't mean we always know what to look for or where the problems really lie.
So how do we fix this? What do we need to do to discover where we need help the most?
That's what this episode of 'So You Say You're Married' is all about. I explain what self-awareness means, why it's valuable, and how being self-aware can save your marriage. It's not an easy road, but nothing worth doing ever is.
