Tony picks up part two by talking about his second hero. Often times we overlook the fact that leaders have heroes and our heroes have heroes. Sometimes the heroes of those we look up to are not who we might expect them to be. Due to the fact that we look up to our heroes and other leaders, we take for granted that they also have people who inspire them and who they look up to. Tony continues his path of transparency by sharing who one of his heroes are and why they are his hero. Tony also ties the reasons why his hero is his hero to leadership and explains how those reasons are lessons for us to be better leaders.

Tony continues his transparency journey by sharing a story of when he was checked as a leader from a very unsuspected person in his life. While the conversation shocked Tony, it reminded him of who he was and what his job was. In this episode, Tony shares how leaders can use accountability to become better leaders, but also how those following others can help them become better leaders through accountability. 

In this episode, Tony shares how he got to where he is today and how sometimes what we have envisioned for our life, may be holding us back from a greater opportunity. Falling short of and making mistakes are inevitable in life, but it is how we respond in those moments that truly show us who we are. Sometimes Plan A and Plan B don't work out. However, Plan C may have been the best route for us to take to reach our full potential and thrive.

Coming off his 5 part series, Tony talks about how leaders can enter new environments and make an immediate impact. LOL stands for Listen Observe and Learn. If leaders enter their new space ready to listen, observe, and learn, they can be a true asset to their organization. Many times leaders enter their new space as if they have all the answers and it rubs people the wrong way. Learning how things are done and why things are done a certain way can go a long way to help the leader know what is the best next steps.

In the final episode of this series, Tony brings the levels full circle by explaining what impactful leadership looks like. Tony explains a key difference between a level one leader and a level five leader. Tony also explains how each level can impact the other and if something is missing how it can factor into your ability to lead others. There are a lot of questions that we need to ask ourselves as leaders to determine what we do well and how we can improve. However, there is one question that Tony poses that will shift the way you think about every decision you make moving forward. Lastly, Tony talks about the importance of your leadership legacy and what you can do to ensure it is a great legacy.

In week four, Tony talks about the necessity of being an innovative leader. Sometimes with being an innovative leader, we have to make changes. Those changes can come in process, people, product, etc. Change is scary, but if you adequately prepare your people for change, you can make everyone's experience better throughout the transition of the change. The innovative and fourth level of leadership can be the scariest level. One reason it can be the scariest is because of the unknown and the possibility of change which not everyone likes. Tony gives shares a little secret about those who reach level four.

Tony dives into the third level of leadership in this most recent episode. Some leaders are fortunate to start on this level, but not many. One of the key traits of level three leaders is their ability to foster and maintain relationships with others. In order to inspire others, there needs to be some baseline of relationship so they can buy into what you are trying to achieve. Tony reveals a few other key characterics at this level such as providing opportunities for others to lead without them asking to show that you trust them and want to see them do well.

As you climb the leadership level, there will be many lessons to learn.
