Welcome to Episode 1 of the So, You're Human Podcast.
This week I talk to the beginning of my everything, Leeanne Bennett; about her mental health experiences and how they have defined and redefined her into the woman she is as of now. We get right into it with Leeanne's first memories of struggle, loss, and her decision to seek help that served her everchanging healing process.
Leeanne speaks about her parents' divorce, her childhood trauma of surviving rape, and her evolving relationship with her body. She brings up the importance of accepting what once was in order to live in the "now".
