  • Bonus Episode: We Don't Have to Do This Alone

Hello everyone! Thank you for joining me today for a daily dose of hope that I promise I will try my best to offer you every day leading up to the New Year (and perhaps longer if it helps you!).

In this episode, I share how being vulnerable and sharing honestly (and not hurting ourselves our others in the process) no matter what we are feeling, always helps me feel more spiritually fit.

We are all experiencing a lot of struggles right now and we don't have to do it alone.

Reach out if you need support and accept help.

    Sarah

  • Bonus Episode: Controlling an Active Alcoholic
No human power got me sober. I had to get to a place of complete desperation. The progression of my disease was a slow one. I stopped and started constantly. I tried so many different ways to control my drinking on my own. I tried to read things or watch documentaries that would co-sign my wish that I did not have a problem. I would seek out others who drank more than me so that I could find relief that I wasn't an alcoholic. None of that changed my relationship with alcohol and my ability to control it. No human power could save me. At the end of my drinking career I had to believe that I had a problem...but how could I live or live with out drinking alcohol?

  • Bonus Episode: New Confidence as a result of Sobriety
In this Bonus Episode, I share about how getting sober and doing the work beyond putting down the drink has given me the courage to do things that I used to avoid out of fear of inability or fear of failure.
I also talk about an upcoming virtual event for Mrs. Wilson's treatment Center in Morristown, NJ. I will be the MC of this special event with keynote speaker Lisa Boucher, sober over 30 years and award winning author of "Raising The Bottom: Making Mindful Choices in a Drinking Culture."
Please join us on November 9th at 7pm EST on Zoom for this FREE event. If you miss it, you can watch a recording of the event at: News and Events at Mrs. Wilson's Treatment Services - Morristown, NJ (mrs-wilsons.org)
