-- SOBERBIUS #101 --

-- Guest Mix Roberto Prada --

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Biography

Born in Barco de Valdeorras (Ourense) in 1983, ROBERTO PRADA has been involved in the world of music from a very young age. Studying music theory and piano for more than 8 years, already at the age of 16 he discovered the world of electronics and it is in 2006 that he had his first contact with the Technics and vinyl.

In a short time he is a resident of the OH (A.Coruña) nightclub led by Miss Dune and shared a booth with greats of electronic music such as Darkrow, Mario D´Fer, David Herrero and Cristian Varela.

At that time I was very influenced by Techno music, Ben Sims, Sven Vath, Carola, Carl, Varela, Umek, Richi etc when the bpms did not drop below 138 but as of 2010 and with the new trends of the time, it begins to experiment by another way, the new Tech-House, yes, without losing the rhythm or the typical forcefulness of Techno drums, making their sets very dynamic and powerful. Now at present he is influenced by D-Unity, Matt Sassari, Dennis Cruz, Andrés Campo, Wade and another feature length etc.

After visiting discos from Galicia to Castilla León and spending a season in Coimbra in Portugal, he decided to reside in Madrid, where he played in numerous halls / clubs and private parties and shared a booth from Mario Mendoza to Pelacha, César Almena, Iñaki Villasante among others.

From here he also visited venues in Zaragoza and Valencia where he played at the mythical Spook hall, a living history of the bakalao route.

After a long apprenticeship after so many years of mixing, he manages that his sets are imbued with feeling, depth and great rhythm on any dance floor.

He has been playing with Ableton for a long time wanting to express all his passion for electronics, perfecting his sound day after day until he can launch a good Original Mix.

As long as we don't listen to their first EP, let's enjoy their mixes.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

After several months of preparation I was finally able to do a special show in honor of the 100 episodes of my SOBERBIUS podcast.

Although things are as they are, nothing and no one will make me lose my illusion or love of music and that is why I got down to work to tell a new story in a more special way where I present this small project called "Culture and Culture" where you can enjoy electronic culture and historical heritage.

The chosen site could not be other than the Torre del Homenaje de mi tierra Villarejo de Salvanés.

Although only the tower remains, it constitutes a unique architectural sample in Spain, as the cubbyholes are arranged grouped on the sides and not on the edges, as is usual in Spanish military architecture.

Thanks to the great work of Total View and the collaboration of the Villarejo de Salvanés City Council for giving me the site!

I hope you like it and enjoy the experience.
