We were supposed to release our last full episode of the year on Christmas Day but there is NOTHING better than opening presents early, so here is your early Christmas present!! Eric and Seba put their Boca-River rivalries aside (just for a few minutes, don't worry) and celebrate Christmas "Soccer is Fútbol" style, complete with a gift exchange, a virtual tour of the studio and an impromptu meet-and-greet of our fabulous crew, insane greetings from some new "friends of the pod" and super cool shoutouts to our fans!! We seriously could not think of a BETTER WAY to celebrate UN AÑO, ONE YEAR since we became champions of the World than with Nico Cantor as our very special and first in-person guest ever!! Neither near hurricane storms nor South Floridian road rage nor West Palm Beach traffic nor strange recording locations nor technical difficulties could stop us from making our way down to Miami and having the chance to interview Nico about his life as a successful soccer commentator, host of the CBS Sports Golazo Show and fútbol ambassador at large. We had mate, Nico shared what it was like to grow up in Miami where he spent many childhood days in broadcast studios watching his dad Andrés Cantor at work, and, most importantly, WE FULFILLED HIS LIFELONG WISH of singing his beloved UNREHEARSED ARGENTINIAN SOCCER CHANTS IN ENGLISH.
