November 09, 2022 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year on Mental Focus and Resilience, Jon Busch
Today we're pleased to learn from a 21-year MLS veteran and MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, Jon Busch.
A career with many accolades, Jon started out as both a high school and college All-American. After leaving as an NCAA All-American at UNC-Charlotte, Jon spent the first 5 years of his professional career playing the U.S. I.S.L. where in 2001 he was named Goalkeeper of the Year.
In 2002 Jon was drafted into the MLS by the Columbus Crew and won the U.S. Open Cup during his 5 seasons with the club. In 2007 Jon joined the Chicago Fire and in 2008 was named MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. Jon later signed with the San Jose Earthquakes and retired in 2018.
During his time in San Jose, the idea of High Performance Goalkeeping was formed from a desire to give every youth goalkeeper the opportunity to wear top quality gloves, just like the pros, at affordable prices. You can learn more at https://hpgoalkeeping.com

October 26, 2022 Hall of Famer & MLS Veteran, David Horst Interview
Our special guest today is MLS player David Horst. David attended college at Old Dominion University where he was just inducted into the Hall of Fame.
A strong center back, David began his career as a 1st round draft pick of Real Salt Lake in the 2008. During his long 11-year MLS career, he won an MLS Championship in 2009, won the 2010 USL Championship and also played with Portland Timbers and Houston Dynamo.
David retired in 2018 due to an injury. He now resides in Medford, Oregon where he serves as the Director of Coaching for the Rogue Valley Timbers Soccer Club.
David shares more about his journey, some challenges he overcame, funny moments and gives advice on how to make it at the elite level.
