Tanya is " a left leg amputee, who lost my leg to cancer almost 5 years ago. I'm also a dancer, singer and trainee pole dancer/aerialist, who has performed with integrated dance group Croi Glan since 2020."
This is the message that I receive when she booked the time to record the podcast. She followed it with "I've been a leg amputee since Oct. 2017, so nearly 6 years rather than 5... time flies when you're having fun, or something.", which gives you an idea of her attitude toward her ordeal following the leg amputation.
It is a wonderful conversation about family, music, rural Ireland, travelling and, of course, what is like to be an amputee.

It's much appreciated.

This is Charlie's second appearance on the show.
I wanted to catch up with Charlie as he has been caring for his mother for the past few years but it hasn't stopped him from creating and exploring ways of getting creativity to help him, and hopefully others, deal with the heartache of watching your loved one deteriorating.
He is currently working on a documentary about his life experience.
The music in this podcast is Love & Healing, by Charlie Ryder.
