My journey as a social media and content repurposing manager has had a lot of ups and downs, and I almost quit the first year into my business.

I wish I could tell you that it was easy, but it isn’t. It required a lot of effort, energy, patience, perseverance, and a whole lot of money.

But that’s part of being a first-time business owner, and you’re going to definitely make mistakes along the way because you’re trying to navigate uncharted territory.

In this episode, I shared 6 lessons that I learned while building my freelance business, what happened, and what I did.

Apart from learning the practical strategies of running a business, there's also the energetic side of it, which I discussed more in this episode - from finding a niche to having emotional resiliency.

One of the things that can be a challenge when starting your online business, whether you’re a coach, consultant, or service provider, is getting clients.

When I started my freelance business, I was really struggling, I bought all the mini-courses, and enrolled in thousands and dollars worth of programs that will help me become a better marketer and salesperson.

It was not easy because, first of all, I don’t like the feeling of being straight-in-your-face sold, so I had to find a way where I can sell without feeling salesy and icky. I don’t want to convince people, and as a Projector in Human Design, convincing is not part of the vocabulary.

And throughout my journey of running this business for almost 4 years now, I gained momentum when I started showing up in a more aligned way. It took a lot of effort and energy when I started, and the soul-aligned clients didn’t come rushing right away.

In this episode, I talked about how I was able to attract not just a client but a soul-aligned client. What does that even mean? For me, soul-aligned clients are a HELL yes clients; they don’t need convincing, they understand the value of the service I am offering, we have the same values and intentions with our business, they are professional, and for some reason, we develop a good chemistry and our personalities jive, which results in having a healthy working relationship with them throughout our time together.

This is more on the energetic level of how I was able to attract these clients, not the strategic part (which I can record a separate episode on; - just let me know!)

Welcome to the fourth and final episode of the “Amplify your message” series.

Let’s talk about the strategic side of creating content.

Now, I know you have consumed a lot of content and a lot of strategies when it comes to creating content. There are a lot of great spiritual leaders and light workers who create awesome content. And what I’m about to share with you is one of the most under-utilized content strategies. If you’re someone who has been following me on Instagram for quite some time, then you might be familiar with what I’m talking about.

Content repurposing is not something that I consciously offered from the start. In fact, I was a social media manager for spiritual entrepreneurs like you. I was intuitively guided that Although I still offer social media management and virtual assistance, content repurposing has been the core and something I love helping my clients with.

I love the idea of optimizing your content and breaking it into different forms and types. Turning 1 piece of content into 10 pieces of content. By the sound of it, it might be a little overwhelming. But that’s what I’m here for.

Here are some of the reasons why you should implement content repurposing in your business's marketing strategy.

The best thing about content repurposing is that it doesn't require you to start from scratch. It doesn’t matter what platform you have. The important thing is you have a few pieces of content that you have published already, and think of ways how you can repost those content without making it seem like you’re copying the original content. You just need to be creative in how you’ll be presenting it to your community. I remember helping my client turn 1 video into 5 to 6 short videos,  3-4 graphics quotes, and 2 Instagram reels.

Remember, in our first episode, I talk about how people have different preferences when consuming content. From Instagram reels to TikTok, there are a lot of platforms and features to “Edutain” (Educate + entertain). Content repurposing helps you increase the content life span. For example, on Instagram, the content lifespan is around 24 - 48 hours. But when you do your content repurposing, of course, you will create time types of content, different forms of content, just by that one piece of content you already have.

And also, that's one of the reasons why having long-form content is important. Something that I advocate because it's going to help you in recycling your content or repurposing your content.

Let’s be honest, creating content can be time-consuming and requires a lot of effort. So let’s say you have a blog, a YouTube channel, or a podcast; you only have to show up at least once a week. These are the type of content that you can repurpose. When you have this type of content, and then you just repurpose it on Instagram, your Facebook page, or your TikTok, it’s going to help you with time, effort, and mental energy in producing and creating.

By showing up at least once a month, no matter what platform, you’re able to create multiple content from that one evergreen content. That’s it! It’s the same strategy that I use for my clients. Hopefully, you find this tip helpful for your own marketing strategy.

I’ve found that meditation improves my ability to focus and be present in the moment. It helps me connect with my intuition and access my divine genius. And it gives me a sense of peace and balance that I feel so much more connected to myself and others when I’m doing this daily.

Meditation can be difficult at first, but it becomes easier with practice. And once you get good at it, it becomes something you don’t want to stop doing because it feels so good for your mind and body!

Welcome to the second series of “Amplify your message.”

As much as a love the strategy side of things, I’d love to start with the energetics. Energy first before creating content.

Imagine this: you’re sitting in front of your laptop for 30 minutes, trying to brainstorm for your caption. So, you’re typing, then deleting, then typing again. And you just don’t feel too confident about what you want to say. In the end, you’re still left with a blank screen. Here are some of my thoughts about creating content and energetics:

Creativity is not something you force yourself to tap into. It’s something that flows naturally. Our audience and community can feel the energy of your content, no matter what medium. And they know if you’re posting content just for the sake of posting it. If you feel like you’re missing out, ask yourself these questions:

Do I want to create content right now? Because I feel like I'm missing out? Or because I wanted to show up? Am I trying to create content from a place of desperation or a place of service?

Many entrepreneurs and creators think posting and creating content every single day is a must so people won’t forget about your brand. Personally, I have a lot of people that I admire that don’t post as much. I don’t forget them because I love their content so much. And when they do post something, it’s always thought-provoking, inspiring, engaging, or informational – all because they do content in the place of love and service.

I always say that everything starts with the body and not the mind. First. Just really ask my body. What needs to be released today? What needs to be let go off? My body has to be a clear vessel for ideas to come. I have to be in this state where I am open to receiving because if I have a lot of things that I'm feeling in my body, I won't be able to receive any downloads, any messages, and wants to come through. For me, the best way to release blockages is through breathwork.

There are also a lot of ways where you can do this if you're not into breathwork–your Spotify playlist and sing your heart out. Find a way to release anything through your body because it really helps.

So I like to do this by doing a ritual. For me, I like to light my intuition candle with the intention of self-expression and channeling creativity, and then, if I am in the mood, I will just put up some music from Spotify and just dance. I connect with my Sacral Chakra. I also like to prepare my favorite drink – either coffee, matcha, or cacao. I love sipping cacao while working on content because it helps me tap into that place of love and service. This can be as unique depending on your preference. Feel free to do the same things if it resonates with you.

This was a game-changer for me. I am more intentional when it comes to creating content. So what I do is I just sit in silence, and I just talk to them either mentally or I just say things out loud. I am connecting with your energy. What is it that wants to come through to me today? How can I help you?

Let’s say you’ve received your message. So for me, for example, when I receive a message, ask myself, or just my intuition, what's the best way that I can express this specific topic? I just sit and think about the medium – would it be good for IG Reel, IGTV, or IG stories? This helps me create aligned content for you guys. So it’s not the other way around, where you force yourself, “Alright, I need an IG story today; what should be the topic?”

It’s finally happening! We’re kicking off the pod with the first 4 episodes of The Social Media Alchemy podcast with an important topic: amplifying your message. Join me as I share practical and spiritual guidance in creating a soul-led life and business, soul expansive conversations with spiritual entrepreneurs healers, and visionaries.

In this first part of the 4-part series of Amplify your Message

In our episode, I talked about one of the biggest questions of spiritual entrepreneurs: is it okay to repeat my message over and over again? In fact, established spiritual leaders and entrepreneurs repeat their message. It’s just a matter of how to share it in a different way, angle, perspective, and medium.

As a business owner and a brand, you’d want people to remember you for a specific topic (aka your niche!). I’m not saying that you should limit yourself to that specific niche – it’s still great to share your personality, your likes and dislikes, behind-the-scenes, and other things that interest you.

So when you’re thinking about the things you want to talk about, it’s important to list all the topics. So for me, for example, I want to be known as the spiritual VA, spiritual social media manager, and entrepreneur. So aside from the social media strategy side, I’d also share about energetics, healing, and spirituality.

Here’s the thing: only 5-10% of followers can see your content, especially if Instagram is the main platform where you market your business. Aside from that, you also have to consider that your followers are potentially following other businesses that have the same niche as you. And if you are not actively engaging with your followers, chances are they might not be able to see your content the first time around. So, it’s important to reinforce your message so your followers can recall your brand and what you do.

Social media platforms have different features to cater to all types of consumers. For example, on Instagram, there’s the Feed, Stories, Reels, and Guides. Instagram allows you to use these features for you to show up. You might be thinking, “What the hell, should I use all these features?” If you’re focused on using one content format, you might be missing out on reaching your ideal clients who consume content differently. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

I can actually attest to this one! If I watch a video for the first time, I might miss a lot of things that person is saying, and I might not get what they want me to understand. If your goal is to sell a program, I, as a consumer, would need to understand first your brand, your program, and how it will give value to me. You can communicate this by reinforcing your message through different mediums. So it is okay for you to repeat yourself over and over again.
