Social media is all about being VISIBLE. What does it mean to be visible on social media? It means that you are engaging with your followers by posting valuable content and actively interacting in a way where they can see the real person behind the brand, not just an automated message or advertisement.

[It's story time] Do you love your work right now in this world? Maybe you do, but there is a piece missing - your real mission. When Lisa Hrabluk realized that journalism was one way to share her message that she could pair with her thirst to build her own media platform, she founded Wicked Ideas Media, a change management learning and coaching company for people driven to change their world with purpose. not enough to share her message she started to build her own business - mixing both the journalism expertise and her passion to help people change hard situations in smoother processes. 

My guest today is an expert on how to build consensus to solve complex issues, known as wicked problems. Over the years Lisa has written a lot of articles, won national awards for her journalism and entrepreneurship, been a frequent guest on CBC Radio, wrote a best-seller, made a couple of short films, planned and hosted large-scale events, advised on public policy development, helped companies both big and small shift operations towards sustainability and climate justice, and become a leader in the North American BCorp movement, which as for-profit companies that meet the highest standards for social and environmental impact.

She grew up on the shores of Lake Ontario and now lives 10 minutes from the Bay of Fundy with her husband, daughter and their dog Wesley. Be forewarned if you come to visit, he’s a hugger.
