Tempany Morgan is a PhD candidate based at Nottingham Trent University, researching social prescribing and the development of a community prescribing toolkit, that aims to refine the community group referral process and improve the matching process to community groups. She is currently working from a psychology background and will be applying a social psychological theory, known as the social identity approach to health and wellbeing, to the toolkit, to help outline why social prescribing works.
