S1 / E18 Social Suicide: Stalking Skye

While working on her Ph.D., Skye befriends a brilliant and charismatic neuroscience student who quickly seizes control over all aspects of her life. 

Skye breaks up with her then-boyfriend and the neuroscience student insists that he and Skye start dating. After he begins abusing her emotionally, mentally, and physically, Skye turns to authorities to have him arrested. She immediately becomes a pariah amongst most of her academic peers and is now "more afraid of the social suicide than (she) was of being killed".
