Look, I know this is going to sound super weird coming from a guy who runs a visual marketing agency. However, when it comes to content, every form of content creates a level of friction for the audience.
Blogs, you have to sit and read them
Videos, you have to sit and watch them
Memes etc. You have to sit and scroll and find the content
However, one form of content is so powerful. It's a form of content I've believed in all my career in media, starting 22 years ago, that's audio or as you'll know it, the podcast.
A podcast is almost frictionless, apart from needing a tool to download the content you can consume the value from the podcast anywhere, anytime. Right now this is ideal, you can listen as you play with the kids (just turn it louder than they're screaming), you can play it in the car as you drive to get groceries when you need them, you can listen as you walk in the park on your daily exercise allowance and so many other places too.
So my question to you is, if you've not started making a podcast yet, why not?
