  • What does it require of you? - Psalm 103 | Ps Riley Cummings

    23/08/26

    Key Text: Psalm 103:2-5

What does a church 8,000 miles away say about you when you're not in the room?

This is a special Sunday at Society Church - Riley and Tara Cummings, some of Josh and Taylor's closest friends and part of the sending team at New Spring Church in South Carolina, flew to Melbourne to be with the church family in person. And rather than coming with a polished sermon, Riley came with something more personal: a list of what he knows about Society Church from the other side of the earth.

It turns out, you have a reputation. And this message is an encouragement to live up to it.

  • How to Read the Bible - 2 Timothy | Ps Josh Bull

    16/08/26

    Key Text: 2 Timothy 3:10-17

A Bible that's falling apart usually belongs to someone whose life isn't.

That line from Charles Spurgeon sits at the heart of this message - and it's brought to life not just through Josh's teaching, but through a genuinely special moment where he invites his own grandfather, Pa, onto the stage to share what 65 years of walking with God and his Word actually looks like.

Drawing from Paul's final letter to Timothy, this is a warm, practical, and at times convicting call to be a church that doesn't just admire the scriptures from a distance - but holds fast to them, every single day.

  • What Do You Actually Want? A Life of Prayer - Matthew 6 | Ps Josh Bull

    09/09/26

    Key Text: Matthew 6:9-13

Bible Project - The Lord's Prayer

    https://bibleproject.com/videos/lords-prayer/

If someone told you that you could sit down for a meal with anyone in the world, dead or alive, you'd cancel everything and make it happen. So what does it say about us that we have full access to the living God, and we often don't show up?

That's the question at the heart of this message. Drawing from the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, Josh unpacks what it means to actually want God — not just tick a religious box, but to be the kind of person whose heart is genuinely burning for him.

  • How to walk by faith - Hebrews 11 | Ps Josh Bull

    02/08/26

    Key Text: Hebrews 11:1-3

What does it actually mean to live by faith, not just talk about it?

This week features two voices: Aaron Di Placido, a pastor who spent the last year in the wilderness after stepping away from everything he knew in ministry, and Josh, who picks up the thread and unpacks what a faith-filled life actually looks like in practice.

Together they paint a picture of faith that is less about grand gestures and more about heart posture - the quiet yielding, the open hands, and the one step taken even when you can't see what's on the other side.

  • Your Bill Has Been Paid - John 10:10 | Jehan

    26/07/26

    Key Text: John 10:10

Why did Jesus die? If you’ve been a Christian for five days or five decades, you probably think you know the answer.

Yes, Jesus died for our sins, and to give us eternal life. But Jesus also said he came to earth to give us life in “abundance”. What does abundant life actually look like, especially when our circumstances are painful or uncertain?

This week, Jehan explores this tension. He walks us through three hallmarks of an abundant life: freedom, joy and overflow. We pray that this message gives you a fresh revelation of what resurrection life can look like – not just in eternity, but right here and now.

  • Anointed to Go - Isaiah 61 | Reverend Emmy Wilson

    19/07/26

    Key Text: Isaiah 61:1–3

What happens when the Spirit of God gets hold of an ordinary person and sends them to the most unexpected places?

This week, Society Church welcomed Reverend Emmy Wilson, a woman whose life is one of the most remarkable stories of Holy Spirit obedience you'll ever hear. From nursing AIDS patients in the 1980s, to being swept up in the Toronto outpouring of 1994, to pioneering Alpha in prisons across 40 nations, Emmy preaches not from theory, but from a lifetime of saying yes.

Drawing from Isaiah 61, Emmy unpacks what it truly means to be anointed by the Spirit — and brings it to life through story after extraordinary story of broken lives transformed by the love of Jesus.

  • Who is Jesus? - Matthew 16 | Ps Josh Bull

    12/07/26

    Key Text: Matthew 16:13-16

A ten-year-old boy woke up one morning and told his dad he wanted to go to church. A few months later, that same dad is sitting in a café telling a stranger: "I think the person of Jesus is fascinating."

That phrase set the tone for everything in this message.

In one of the most important questions in all of Scripture, Jesus turns to his disciples and asks not what the crowd thinks, but what they think. And two thousand years later, that question still demands an answer from every one of us.

In this message, Josh reorients the church around the person of Jesus — not as a historical curiosity, a moral framework, or a safe figure to admire from a distance, but as the living Lord who asks each of us personally: Who do you say that I am?

  • Society Night | Ps Josh Bull

    08/07/26

    Key Text: Psalm 78:70-72

What does it look like to build something that lasts? In this special Society Night message, Josh pulls back the curtain on where Society Church is heading and issues a timely challenge to the whole community about the kind of people God is calling them to be.

With the church growing faster than most new churches do, Josh sounds a loving but honest note: numerical growth is a gift, but it can never be the goal. The heartbeat has to stay fixed on King Jesus and that means growing not just in size, but in character, competency, and capacity.
