  • 1.6 - A Deep-Dive Into Masculinity
When taking a look at the world, there are a multitude of ideologies that attempt to define what it means to be a man. Look no further to Youtube, where you'll find an abundance of 'Alpha-males' selling their ideas to the public of how a man can be the dominant & respected - as well as one that oozes class and confidence wherever they place themselves in society.
In this episode, we try to crack down on & decipher the following:
    - What is masculinity, and what does being masculine even mean?
    - Was it society or our families that portrayed a tainted version of Raganimo?
    - The characteristics one would see in the masculine man, as well as the best example he should follow
    - The deceptions of the Red Pill movement

About Socotra Talks

From the publisher's feed

A podcast centred around discussing the real issues that have affected the Somali diaspora & avoiding false narratives that have stopped progressive conversations from taking place for many years. We aim to speak about the problems that have weakened us since our parents migrated to the West in the 90's. We hope that, through this platform, we can share both our and your voices & opinions on what can be done to improve the outlook of the community now - and tomorrow.
