Im Rahmen des Kolloquiums "Gesellschaftswandel" des Lehrstuhls für Sozialstrukturanalyse stellte Dr. Annika Lems ihre Forschung über die Bevölkerung der Nockberge in Kärnten (Österreich) vor. Dabei veranschaulicht und theoretisiert die Anthropologin die Einstellungen der Bergbevölkerung zu Themen wie dem Wolf, Gentrifizierung der Alpen oder Migrant:innen.
Prof. Dr. Sarah Speck von der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt schreibt anlässlich des hundert jährigen Jubiläums des Frankfurter Institut für Sozialforschung die Geschichte von Frauen an jenem Institut nach. Im zweiten Teil skizziert sie dann wie die Kritische Theorie der Frankfurter Schule und feministische Theorie zusammen gedacht werden könnten. Der Vortrag fand im Rahmen des Kolloquiums "Gesellschaftswandel" vom Lehrstuhl Sozialstrukturanalyse statt.
In his keynote speech, Asbjørn Drendal from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology outlines a way of studying conspirituality. In doing so, he draws attention to some of the problems with the concept and their implications for scientific research.
Die Conspirituality diente in den Protesten gegen die Corona-politik als ideologischer Kitt der Protestierenden. In diesem Beitrag der beiden Referent:innen aus Wien wird durch die Vorstellung einer Einzelfallanalyse gezeigt, wie Ideologiefragmente auf idiosynkratische Wiese angeeignet werden und in die eigenen Deutungssysteme eingeflochten werden.
Während der Covid-19 Pandemie kam es auch in Neuseeland zu Protesten gegen die Massnahmen der Regierung. Bei den Protesten mit dabei waren klassische Rechte und Verschwörungstheoretiker:innen, aber auch Vertreter:innen der indigenen Bevölkerung Neuseelands. Isabel Klein stellt sich nun in ihrem Beitrag die Frage, wie es zu dieser Allianz kommen konnte.
Im dritten Beitrag des Workshops "Verschwörungsdenken - Esoterik - Conspirituality" stellt Clara Schliessler die empirischen Befunde zur Verbreitung von conspirituality, Verschwörungsdenken und Esoterik in der deutschen Bevölkerung vor. Im Rahmen der Leipziger Autoritarismusstudien wurden in repräsentativen Umfragen solche Einstellungen in der deutschen Bevölkerung befragt. Weiter werden die Befunde sozialpsychologisch eingeordnet.
Mit der Moderne wurde die Welt u. a. durch die Wissenschaft entzaubert. Heute erleben wir aber vermehrt, dass wissenschaftliche Evidenz nicht mehr unangefochten von allen übernommen wird. Gerade Esoterik wird häufig gegen die Wissenschaft ins Feld geführt. Ansgar Martins Vortrag beschäftigt sich vor diesem Hintergrund mit der Frage nach dem Verhältnis von wissenschaftlicher und esoterischer Evidenz.
Im Rahmen des Workshops "Verschwörungsdenken - Esoterik - Conspirituality" referiert Prof. Dr. Jens Schlieter über religionswissenschaftliche Ansätze um esoterisches Verschwörungsdenken und deren Erzählmuster besser verstehen zu können. Prof. Schlieter ist geschäftsführender Direktor des Instituts für Religionswissenschaft an der Universität Bern.
Die gebaute Umwelt und mit ihr die Wohnraumversorgung nehmen in kapitalistischen Gesellschaften eine besondere Rolle in der Kapitalakkumulation ein, nicht erst, aber besonders im Finanzmarkt-Kapitalismus. Deshalb ist „die Wohnungsfrage“, anders als von Engels in den 1870er Jahre beschrieben, kein Nebenwiderspruch des Kapitalismus und ist folglich immer wieder Anlass für Konflikte und die Formierung sozialer Bewegungen. Diese Mieter*innenbewegung wird im Vortrag in ihren unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen in der Krise des Laissez-Faire-Kapitalismus, des Fordismus und des Neoliberalismus heute vorgestellt.
Die Covid-19-Krise hat die Systemrelevanz von Care Arbeit und die Verschränkung von Produktion und Reproduktion deutlich gemacht und damit gezeigt, dass der globale neoliberale Kapitalismus bezüglich der Reproduktion des Sozialen und der Natur an einen Kipppunkt gelangt ist. Der Vortrag schlägt – analog zu Ressourcenextraktivismus – das Konzept ‚Care Extraktivismus’ vor, um die aktuelle Rekonfiguration der sozialen Reproduktion intersektional zu analysieren.
