Sofije Kusari is a humanitarian who with untiring work realized her mission to fight and help settle in North Texas hundreds of refugees escaping genocide in Kosova. In 1985, she fled Kosova to escape the systematic oppression because of her Albanian nationality, and while building a life for her family in the U.S., she decided to dedicate her life to serve refugees and communities in need.
