Soft Rubbish is the stage name of singer/songwriter Julie Montan. Her moody ruminations on the fragile nature of life are bare and unpolished yet disarming and enchanting. Her voice is nuanced and her fingers fledgling as she strums the tenor ukulele drenched in delay while delicately smashing the shit out of her glockenspiel.
