On our weekly roundtable:
Donald Trump is threatening to scuttle the Iran nuclear deal. If he does, it will create a crisis with wide implications for the region, stretching from Russia to Israel to China. Also, the mid-May move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem coincides with Nakba Day, further complicating issues in the region.
According to a report in the New York Times, the U.S. is now helping the Saudis in the war on Yemen. U.S. special forces have increased in Yemen, and they're also building up their presence in North and West Africa.
Meanwhile, on the national front, Trump's troubles increase as Robert Mueller continues his investigation and Rudy Giuliani spills the beans on Trump's Stormy Daniels repayments to Michael Cohen. And, some analysts have predicted that we may be headed towards a constitutional crisis, as the potential of a firing of Rosenstein looms.
Dr. Gerald Horne, Laura Carlsen and Jackie Goldberg join us to discuss these topics and more.
