  • Botox anyone? ft Joseph from Seoul Guide Medical | Episode 19
This week, we had a sit-down with one of our friends who started off as a teacher in Korea, but has recently become a consultant at Seoul Guide Medical.
Joseph aka Brosef, takes us on his 5-year journey here and how he eventually became a consultant at Korea's largest and most trusted government approved medical tourism service provider.
We talk about the importance of skin care, as well as the convenience of plastic surgery in Korea.
We had a very honest conversation about the beauty standards in Korea. His thoughts about noninvasive and evasive surgery. As well as the effects of self esteem he has faced. We end our conversation with a really fun game of “What surgery should we get”!
This episode is not only fun, but extremely informative! If you are thinking of coming to Korea and are scared due to the language barrier. • Oliver got things Twisted ft Sam Han| Episode 15
By now you've probably heard or seen this video that's making it's rounds on YouTube. A week ago, a YouTuber who goes by 올리버쌤or also known as “Oliver Teacher”, posted a video highlighting all the "bad" things about a small town in Fort Worth, Texas. A neighborhood that is predominantly black/brown people and what Koreans should look out for in these “dangerous neighborhoods”.
@thesojublack provides our views on why this video is dangerous and our feelings on what was depicted within this video.
We were also joined by Sam Han, a Korean-American who was raised in Chicago, USA. He provides his own personal experiences as a Korean living in America, in both a predominantly white neighborhood and a predominant black/brown neighborhood.
This video has sparked quite a reaction from expats and Koreans and we felt it was important to use our platform to share our personal views.
We would love to hear from you all your thoughts and if you agreed or disagreed in the comments below. If you haven’t seen the video please follow the link below (English Subtitles).
