    In this week's episode Kir and Erica take a bit of a unique approach to the discussion of mental health. They break down the hymn "What a Friend We have in Jesus" (recommend the Shane & Shane version). Mental health is a hot topic in today's society. There are good ways we hear about the topic of mental health and there are poor ways we hear about the topic of mental health. Today, Kir and Erica want to talk about the importance of caring not only for the mind, but for the soul. We are not meant to be only bodies, we are uniquely body and soul. Please, do not neglect your spiritual health as well.

    If you struggle with mental health issues, please speak with your pastor and find a Christian counselor. Its okay to seek professional help, so long as it is not replacing your time with the wonderful Counselor. God has given His children unique gifts and talents. Counseling is nothing to be ashamed about. It is all a part of God's common grace.
