THE BITCH IS BACK. Paige has returned, and she's ready to talk K-Dramas with Alison and Yanna. That's right, the girls are branching off from kpop for the first time to talk about the first K-Dramas they ever watched, and which have made it to their favourites list. K-dramas always find a way into a k-pop stan's life--either you started with dramas and ended up biasing idols, or you started with your favourite idol group and couldn't resist the temptation of dramas. Either way, once you've probably dipped your toes into the crazy wonderful world of K-dramas at one point, and encountered it's many genres and tropes. For those who have managed to never watch a k-drama in your lives... don't worry, Paige made a list of what you can expect. Join us as we talk about iconic titles, historic heartthrobs, cinematic OSTs, dramatic plots, and everything in between! What was your first drama?! We'd LOVE to know. Hit us up on Instagram @SoldMySeoulPod!

This is a formal trigger warning for this weeks episode that contains mentions and discussions of bullying, sexual assault, sexual harassment and suicide.
For this week, Alison, Yanna, and returning guest Anne talk about a number of the ongoing bullying accusations and controversies that arose in the past few weeks surrounding several artists from the Korean performing scene. Yanna takes the girls through some of the most popular controversies that have blown up on social media that involve familiar names such as Seventeen member Mingyu, girl group APRIL and one of their former members Hyunjoo, Stray Kids’ Hyunjin and actors Kim Jisoo and Park Hyesoo. The girls also talk about past bullying scandals in the entertainment industry, why there is a sudden surge of these allegations that are suddenly popping up all over SNS, and their opinions on age and accountability with regards to bullying.
(Though Paige is absent from this episode, she will be returning next week.)

This week, the girls explore the crazy, unique world of kpop merchandise and what it means to buy, collect, and trade for different fans. Some can't afford to buy merchandise (did someone say Yanna?), while some dedicate themselves to owning every photocard of their bias (*cough* Alison *cough*), and others are somewhere in between the two (aka Paige). Resident merch-expert Alison teaches us about online trading culture, while Yanna and Paige talk about their selective collecting--all in an effort to get to the bottom of the meaning of merch: what drives fans to collect merch? What does it mean for fandoms? How does it reflect on the kpop industry and kpop fandom culture? Listen to find out what we think!
Do you have your own K-Pop merch? What's your most prized possession in your collection? Give us a follow on our Instagram @SoldMySeoulPod and let us know!

This week the gals talk SOLOISTS! It was so hard to choose just one each, but Paige called dibs on Chungha, Yanna takes us through some of the iconic milestones of the legend BOA's career, and Alison takes a few minutes to praise Taemin and how far he's come since his debut.
Who's your favourite soloist? Follow us on instagram @SoldMySeoulPod and let us know!

Ali, Paige, and Yanna touch on Alison’s favourite topic: underrated K-Pop groups! Though it was hard to pick just one, Alison manages to stick to one of her ultimate groups, A.C.E (but can't resist shouting out a few of her other faves). Paige reels the listeners back into the nightmare realm to talk about the loves of her life, AKA girl group Dreamcatcher (yes, again, and what of it?) in a deeper dive of the timeline of their career, their snatched first win, and their overseas success. Yanna finds the balance between boy group stan Alison and girl group stan Paige with a feature on co-ed group KARD, including their crazy pre-debut success. SPOILER ALERT: Paige makes Yanna cry!
Who's your favourite underrated group that deserves more love? Follow us on instagram @SoldMySeoulPod and let us know! We might just promote them on a future episode 👀

Alison, Paige, and Yanna dedicate an episode to a topic that you just can't avoid when talking kpop--Survival Shows. Namely, the most notorious survival show: the Produce series. The girls unpack seasons one through four, touching on some of the biggest scandals, and of course giving you the lowdown on all of the reasons Mnet SUCKS! As usual, Paige focuses on the girl-group seasons, Alison spills the tea on the boy-group seasons, and maknae Yanna curses out Mnet's existence.
We would like to apologize for the especially bad audio quality this week! Oopsie. We are but humble, full-time students with mediocre microphones and free audio software. Please excuse us--we'll be improving every episode!

Alison, Paige, and Yanna continue where they left off in Re-Debuts: Part 1. The topic is artists in the Kpop industry who at first did not succeed, and tried again... (and again and again). Alison tells us about soloists and survival-show veterans Euna Kim and Heo Chanmi; and the enigma that was (is?) EXID: the girl group that was somehow both popular AND underrated, both disbanded AND still together. Then Paige spills all the tea on ELRIS and their newly added members, and dishes out the details on Dreamcatcher's success after re-debuting with a unique concept.
