There is no doubt that the world we live in is not perfect and falls short of the ideals we desire in life. Yet we have the assurance that perfection can be attained should we seek the right path.  

We must understand that we are not dealing with an enemy here on earth that we can see or touch with our hands, but with the darkness of spiritual beings who were once in heaven and are now using their authority and power to try to rule the world.  That’s why we must put on the whole armor of God and stand, not giving an inch of ground so when the fighting is over, we are still standing.  No matter how vicious the attacks and the schemes thrown against us, we shall stand and be victorious, if we are “Dressed To Stand”

When we are overtaken by death, is that the absolute end of our journey? Is there life after death? How can we know for sure?  

The wages of sin is death. Because all have sinned, we all are just one heartbeat away from death. But there will be a day when death shall be defeated.

As the pressure of the world and evil forces press against us, our "strength of Joy" is marked by our faith in the presence of our Heavenly Father, in His power, and His hedge of protection surrounding us. Internal joy and contentment fill our hearts as we rest in God’s presence, His divine wisdom, and perfect timing. We gain "strength in joy" from God's Word as we trust, obey, and depend on the Lord!

Knowing that salvation is from the God of this universe gives us the assurance that we need not be afraid. Sometimes we get so caught up in our situations and ourselves that we forget our God is our salvation. He loves us so much that He will hold our hands and carry us through the times of our fear and apprehension.

Does it upset you to see how the poor and lowly people of this world are so often mistreated and take advantage of? Those who, by the world’s definition, are rich and powerful so often gained their status by means that were not in compliance with the standards of God.

As God’s law is written in our hearts, our love for God burns deep within moving us to trust and obey His Word. Then His Word that’s written in our heart along with our faith becomes the guiding force in our lives.  Our love for God and His Word, along with our faith in God increases, thereby making us stronger and courageous to do God's will with joy and happiness. His love, righteousness, and His law are written in my heart!
