The guest we have today, Barbara S. Pound, She is a Founder and CEO @ Bardess Group Ltd. Along her career journey she handled lot of varriety of roles and responsibilities. Currently she is working with TangetWorks and Gartner to become a cool vendor. 

She is passionate about an entrepreneurship and truly leading her passion. She has lot more to share about - unique skills, giving back to the community, career growth, gender equality, work life balance and leadership.

While talking about her experience working in male dominating work culture she mentioned that - "It was difficult then, but now there is lot more progress, women are doing great now, but definitely women needs to support more each other. Also, gain more knowledge, more assertive to be equal in the work environment."

When we were talking about learning, she mentioned how mentorship within university and her professional career helping her to grow in a career,

She mentioned one important aspect of exploring any field is reading about it. Also, how reading and writing a review/ two sentences on what you learn helps to keep community engaged. She recommended to take Andrew Ng's Courses in machine learning and AI.

She is definitely going to grow and lead area she is interested in further.

As I reached out on my social media community, couple of days back to find out, if we have any data science leader, who has anything to share about their findings around Corona, we have our very first young data scientist, who explored some datasets.  

According to him - " Machine can only predict the possibilities. And AI solution to predict more accurate, I need more data with people, who died or infected with corona situation. So rather then focusing on solution, it's important to take precautions and avoid the spread."  Great round of applause for people who are serving for us. Please do take precautions and help them as well.  It was a great quick chat with him.

Tom’s most important article is “Data’s Credibility Problem” (Harvard Business Review, December 2013). He has a Ph.D. in Statistics and two patents.   

 While talking about finding and pursuing any passion, he mentioned, "One needs to be open minded, ready to try and experiment, persistent as well should not give up."     

He has a lot more to share around data quality, career, and leadership.
