The entire story of the book of Ruth is a story of Redemption! The entire story of the Bible from the beginning to end is a story of redemption! How God redeems a people unto Himself. When God calls a generation to return to Him The way you respond to Him, today will have a generational impact like it had with Ruth.

This morning Rinus Geldenhuys continues in the Ruth series, preaching from chapter 3.

Much like how Ruth surrendered her widows rags and lay at Boaz's feet, if we want to see God’s redemptive and restorative plan work itself out in our lives, and if we want to walk in freedom from that which weighs us down, we must learn to surrender our widow’s rags and find our place at the redeemer’s feet.

This morning Rinus Geldenhuys preaches from Ruth 1:22 - 2:1-18, challenging us to look at what actually belongs to God. Much of what belonged to the fiend of Boaz was actually left for gleaning - it belonged to God and we need to put a margin for His portion into our lives.

Ruth left her home and gods to follow Naomi and her Lord. Is the God you serve just some Elohim (some god out there, the big guy upstairs) or do you know God by his name Yahweh, the GREAT I AM WHO I AM?

Rinus Geldenhuys starts a new series of the book of Ruth. In chapter 1 it starts with anarchy, famine, death, and grieving, but it ends in the promise and hope of a barley harvest.

As we unpack the book of Ruth, we will learn of a God who is called “The Almighty”. God who is sovereign. A God who we can trust, to redeem and restore us. A God who knows our pain and suffering. A God who loves us and who gives us hope for our futures. A God who is with us.

We are reminded that Jesus is rejected because He doesn't fit the mold of what the world thinks God should be and if we won't accept Him as he's presented to us, we cannot want or have more of Jesus until we accept what is there.
