The Fruits of the Spirit are the good things God grows in us when we follow Him.
They are: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. When we stay close to Jesus, these show up in how we live every day.
Sometimes we ignore conviction because we think the consequences are far off in the future. In Amos, this is exactly how the elites in the nation of Israel were responding to the message of God's coming judgment. They presumed God's blessings because they were His chosen people. But God does not have to bless empty rituals and religion. God looks at the heart, and He sees yours, too.
In Philippians 2, we learn that unity among believers is not only possible, but expected. Join us as we look at the call to true humility among believers through Paul's use of if/then statements, how-to instructions, and the ultimate example given by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you ever find yourself discouraged? In those moments, do you find yourself going back to what is familiar, even though it is painful? Join us as we discover what it means to jump out of the boat of discouragement, and head toward Christ. Peter found his second chance when Christ restored him and put him on mission for the Kingdom. Christ is waiting for you as well!
Living with a Christ-like attitude isn’t about being perfect; it’s about letting His character shine through us in everyday moments, so others can see Christ in the way we live.
Daniel's lifelong rhythm of prayer and thanksgiving formed a courage that no empire could intimidate and no crisis could break. Listen to this message to see how practicing gratitude becomes the stability that carries you through every test.
Words are powerful — they can start fires or shine light. Learn how to control your tongue, speak life, and let your words reflect Jesus every day.
Is it possible to think you are right with the Lord and be far from Him? Is it possible for our outward acts of worship to be hated by the Lord? Yes. In Amos 5, we see that there is worship that the Lord hates. This is worship that is external only. No sincerity. No faith. No repentance. In short: hypocritical. The Day of the Lord, His coming and His judgment, is the day the hypocrite hates to see because all pretense will be stripped away. God doesn't want your outward shows of worship. He wants your heart.
In a barren place with empty hands, Jesus proved He is never limited by what we lack. More Than Enough from Luke 9 reveals how God multiplies surrender, fills spiritual hunger, and turns insufficiency into abundance.
When your own heart becomes your harshest critic, how do you silence the voice of condemnation? In When Our Heart Condemns Us from 1 John 3, discover how God’s greater knowledge, not your fluctuating feelings, anchors assurance and restores confidence before Him.
