The people in Genesis 11 wanted to build a tower that reaches to the heavens.
We are Tower-Builders too…we’re ladder-climbers. We love recognition and status. We’re looking for love and pleasure and power and purpose and meaning in all the wrong places. We build towers that crumble before our eyes and we wonder what went wrong. We’re too busy building our kingdoms to seek first the Kingdom of God. It is very easy to start building “towers” in our own strength and for our own glory.
So, why do we build towers? Take a listen to find out.

Timothy had a timid personality, at least, compared to Paul. He had a huge calling and big shoes to fill but God knew he could do it, and so did Paul. Paul told Timothy to be a good soldier of the faith. How can we be faithful soldiers and what does that look like? Take a listen to find out how you can fulfill your calling by being a good soldier too!

A mediator is one that interposes between parties at variance for the purpose of reconciling them. In the ninth chapter of the Book of Job we see him crying out for someone to understand, listen and relate. He understood the majesty of God and had trouble connecting with Him. He cries out for a Daysman...a Mediator...one that could bridge that gap. Take a listen to hear about our Mediator today!

Now that we have learned how to sit and where our identity lies, it is now time to walk. In this message, we learn that a Christian should have different conduct than the world. To be a giver, not just a taker. To serve, not just be served. We are not entitled, we are blessed, and blessed people give when they realize how much has been given to them.
What is a man? What does God say a man is and what does that look like?
Let’s look at an example of a God fearing man and a Goliath fearing man as we examine our hearts.

Are you satisfied in the life you're living? This is a question that runs through our minds. We go throughout life not satisfied with our living arrangements, finances, spouse, job, you fill in the blank. We constantly look for "what's next" instead of looking at where God has put us now. Join us, as our Youth Pastor David Young walks through where the Apostle Paul’s identity was found and how you too can have that same peace in your God given identity just as Paul did.

“He who has a religion that cost nothing, has an empty religion.” Our salvation cost Christ everything. So, how are we living in light of this sacrifice?
In 2 Samuel 24, David was getting right with God after he blew it and he makes this statement, “Neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing.” Do I come to God with this conviction or with convenience?

Now that we have learned how to sit and where our identity lies, it is now time to walk. In this message, we see that a Christians should have a new character in their new walk. The old man has died, and we are to put on the new man in Christ. This should result in a new walk!
The Ark of the Covenant had just arrived back in Israel from the Philistines. Now, it is resting…for 20 years! But something wasn’t right. God was there, but their cities were still in ruin, their armies were weak, and they were still ultimately under the hand of the Philistines. The prophet Samuel tells them how to get all of God, not just enough of God.
It seems like in today’s culture, not much has changed. We don’t mind the idea of God-but not the rule of God. Leonard Ravenhill said, “If He is not Lord of all, He is not Lord at all. Listen to this message from 1 Samuel 7 to see what Samuel told the people on how we can get all of God.
