It is God's Word that should be guiding our life, but are we willing to pursue it with all of our heart? Do we see it as more valuable than gold? Can we appreciate that it sustains our spirit and can guide us through any trouble we may face? How do you value God's Word?

Have you noticed the excitement in the air? It's the time of year when we celebrate with friends and family. Sadly today for many people in this time of political correctness, Christmas has lost it meaning. Are you ready to get the thrill back in Christmas?

The world will present you with several reasons why "their way" is best, but we need God's Word to examine the options that life presents us and to determine the correct way to proceed. But you must act on what on it. Those who hear and don't act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.

Christmas is the time we stop and celebrate Jesus' Birthday, but have you thought about giving Him a gift? And what kind of gift do you give someone who gave it all for you? How about something from the heart!

"I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! - Revelation 3:15-16 NLT

Ever drink tap water without ice or drink from a garden hose? The experience can be unsatisfying. God can use someone that's on fire for Him, "HOT"! God obviously has a heart for the lost or "Cold"! But there is nothing more frustrating than a half-hearted, self indulgent, mediocre Christian!

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do - James 1:5-8

The Christian life has many contrasts and challenges so it is important to continually search our hearts as we face our challenges in life. Are you a giver or are you stingy? Are you sweet or bitter? Do you have a childlike faith?

Are you hot, cold or just lukewarm for Jesus? It is impossible to walk with Jesus when our hearts are only in it half way. Jesus gave all of himself when he died to the Cross for us, we need to give it all to Jesus!

The man who finds a wife finds a treasure and receives favor from the LORD. - Proverbs 18:22

Marriage is first and most importantly about love. Both husbands and wives need to be their spouses biggest supporter. But are we willing to let them speak into our lives on issues that rub us the wrong way. When conflicts in marriage arise there are appropriate ways to approach your spouse and help them stay on track with God.

Everyone loves the diamonds found in fine jewelry stores. But the end product you find in the store is not the condition it was in when it was originally found. It had to be removed from it's original habitation, cleaned up, cut (refined) to be the exact shape it was intended to be and then polished and shined. Our Christian walk usually follows the same steps once we meet Jesus.
