From agnostic to pastor - Life is good, everything is going great. You and your wife are getting ready to have your first baby and the doctor comes in to tell you that your newborn may not make it through the night. When your world comes crashing down, where do you look? On this weeks show, Pastor Josh Brown talks about his journey in walking with God and how trials and fellowship with men outside of Sunday’s got him through tough times and has taken him to places he’d never would imagined.

It is a previous broadcast from 2019 about a dear friend of our show, Sherm Henderson, who had a death defying experience a couple of years ago that he bounced back from, but recently went home to be with the Lord and is now alive and better than he’s ever been in heaven! From prison to PHD. One mans journey from lowest of lows that include drinking in middle school, drug addiction, drug smuggling, 30 year prison sentence and a miracle release after 7 days (a judge erases Victor sentence for no reason other than Gods conviction to do so) to a path God has called him as a pastor and a professor, Victor Vinson tells his amazing story with Kurt and Chad.

At the time, Amos thought he had a bad stomach ache, but in reality it was the “widow maker” heart attack! What did he learn from his near-death experience? Don’t be in a big rush trying to get everything done - take time to be still in His presence.

He decided to make a change. Enter Noah into the narrative. Noah was a good man among a lot of bad men. So much so, that God spared his family, and mankind, by putting them on the ark. He stayed dry when the floods came. But did God want more from Noah, and from all men? On this week’s show, Dr. Eric Schansberg joins Kurt and Chad to discuss the story of man’s fall, along with continued chaos and violence in “the man’s world” of Genesis.
