As socialists we organise for Palestinian rights. But do we aim for a Palestinian state alongside and with the same rights as Israel, or for a multi-ethnic, inclusive, secular, socialist state? What are the prospects for these perspectives? How do we analyse Zionism, the right of return and the class struggle in Israel-Palestine?

Vestas wind turbine blade workers occupied their factory at St Cross, Newport, on 20 July 2009. They demanded that the Government nationalise Vestas Isle of White factories and continue production of turbine blades. COP26 has failed us. Humanity remains on a path towards catastrophic climate change. World leaders, serving only narrow nationalist and capitalistic interests won't challenge the power of the system accelerating climate change – so we have to.

The coalition of forces taking this on is diverse but in large parts disconnected. From civil society groups like Insulate Britain, student activist networks such as the UK Student climate network, and workplace organisations popping up in various sectors. How do we cohere these groups and others to build a movement capable of stopping climate chaos?
