The Solidarity Movement which includes Solidarity and AfriForum among its members says it has reached an agreement with the government around the Basic Education Laws Amendment Act dispute. According to the Solidarity Movement's statement, the contested sectors of the BELA Act will no longer be implemented from the 13th of December 2024.
