Anoa makes the case for researching and understanding the motivation and intent behind the day's actions. There is power in spoken word, and listening to the experiences of others can help us grow as we continue to build spaces for opposing structural and systemic issues. Today is as much about sending a message as it is about the value of women standing up and speaking their truth.
