We continue our study in the Book of Romans as we conclude chapter 14. At the beginning of this chapter, we learned how to worship together with different convictions. Now we will take it a step further by looking to not be a stumbling block to one another. We want to make sure that our mission doesn’t become our standards or convictions. Our mission must be what matters most to God: our commission from Christ (Matthew 28).

The Passover is a significant yearly feast held by the Jews. In commemorates the Israelites miraculous exodus from the Egyptian captivity. When Jesus came to the Passover celebration in John 2, He was not thrilled with what He saw. They had taken a celebration that was to point to Him, and made it a religious activity that missed the entire point.
Today, America celebrates December 25th as Christmas, but I think we have missed the point. Sure, we will see Silent Night and O Holy Night, but do we mean what we sing? Let's examine John 2 to see if we are guilty of the same things that upset Jesus two thousand years ago.
