This week's solo episode is all about rejection and perseverance. I'm bringing back one of the most impactful takeaways we've had on the show that was from the episode with Rebecca Minkoff. She shared with us how in the early days of building her brand it was a ton of legwork to get people to take her line and was rejected constantly. Instead of getting emotional she figured out what the math equation would be to get her line into three stores and realized it took 1000 asks in order for that to happen. Moving forward she just saw it as an equation and knew that it would take 1000 asks to be in 3 stores which helped remove the emotion from rejection. Thought this was so valuable and wanted to bring it back!
