This is another old track that I lifted samples from my favourite film "Legend", I was mad keen for it in those days and thought every word Tim Curry uttered was a stroke of lyrical genius. My young sister reads some of her poetry in the intro which is a nice reminder for me as I don't get to see her much these days living so far away.

These were all made in the early 90's by my good self, before the days of macs and logic 9 so pretty basic but still a few not bad tunes in there.

This is a very old track recorded on a crappy old 4 track and an overly boomy bass drum, but what the heck, I still kinda like it.

This is one of the first tracks we ever recorded in a studio, I was a student at the time at The School Of Sound in Manchester and this was my first ever recording session where I was driving the desk, seems like a lifetime ago now, but I remember being totally bamboozled by the massive mixing desk and thinking "I'll never get my head round all this shit", LOL, well I guess I must have learned something coz 30 years later and I'm still doing it....

We have since re recorded this and given it a bit of a face lift, it can be found nearer the top of my page.

This was our first production on the Sansui 6 track back in 92, it's amazing that the 2 extra track made a huge difference to the amount of parts we could put down and bounce with out loosing to much sound quality. The percussion is a tad loud and the shaker sound now really annoys me but the track it's self i pretty good I think.

A very old track indeed, one of our first in fact. I've always loved the chord structure and our long lost friend Jonsey on the guitar, where are you dude?? Still holds a special place in my heart as our first proper depressing tune for which we are so clearly adept to.

This track started off life as the b-side in our first proper paid for studio session but it actually ended up being better than the A-side (Northern Street) The sax player was a bloody genius.... As was the bassist.

Some tracks from the past, Tempus consisted of Kevin Flemming on vocals & keys, Jimmy Hay on Guitar and myself on keys, samples and programming. We started when at school and Kevin and I are still jamming to this day, 26 years later.....

This was the first song we recorded in a proper studio back in 89', sounds a bit dated now but it was exciting for us at the time.
