Episode 8. In Italy Mod scene was born around 1979 influenced by the movie Quadrophenia. Many teenagers wore parkas, drove scooters and start listening to MOD 79 music. But also they started organizing mod parties, issuing fanzines and playing music. In 1983 The Four by Art from Milan came out with their first 45, the first Italian mod record ever. The track you listen to is "Who killed Snoopy"

Scene significative cominciano a essere presenti nelle principali città italiane. Episode 7. In 1980 the band Dexys Midnight Runners hit the UK charts with the song "Geno" dedicated to Geno Washington and The Raf Jam Band. A great soulful rythm but with a strong punk attitude over beloved by MODS.

Episode n. 6. In 1979 the MOD revival was burning, thanks also to the movie Quadrophenia, with thousands of youngsters from UK and from all over the world following the Mod scene again. New bands came with a distinctive sound, the so-called MOD '79, and among those ones, The Secret Affair were the most important. The song you listen to is an anthem titled "Glory Boys".
