When Chrystal first began coaching she reached out to her ideal client, and despite having a very positive experience, it left Chrystal with her first serious case of Impostor syndrome. Chrystal goes on to describe the feeling of inadequacy she experienced, the frustration she felt with herself when she realized that her insecurities were unfounded, and the pressure she put on herself to make this client’s sessions really good. Today Chrystal explains how experiences like these never feel good but they give us the opportunities to grow, to stretch into that space, and to step into the person we are meant to be.
