Our climate is volatile and rapidly changing. Scientists point toward human-made impact as a significant factor in creating this change.

So, what can we do?

Well, there's a lot we can do to make things better, and it's important to remember that it'll take many of us doing many things to help. Creating more green spaces, passing legislation to allow the coral reef systems, and changing how we get around are just a few solutions; opportunities exist for us all to start helping out.

Housing prices are sky-high in many areas of the country, and central Florida is high on that list. Orange County, Florida, put a rent control ordinance on the ballot in November of 2022, but that ordinance has been locked in legal limbo.

Our Solutionaries team tackled the housing crisis in the Orlando area in 2022, and the reporting started with a citizen panel, who brought the real stories to Solutionaries host Louis Bolden.

There were many personal tales of being priced out of homes, apartments, and the area in general. One of the more vocal participants was Robin Sackevich, who moved from Michigan to Florida

We gathered a group of Floridians to talk about the issues they face regarding housing. What we heard was mindblowing! Rent increases by 33%, a lack of options for livable spaces, and little to no compassion for families trying to get by.

Police-community relations: A divisive topic, to say the least.
