Emotional Boundaries In Rena's guided somatic mindfulness practice, she starts with a gentle invitation to take a few deep breaths, grounding us in the present moment. As we settle in, she encourages us to notice our breath without trying to change it, acknowledging its natural rhythm. Then, she guides us to slow down and connect with our bodies, feeling the support beneath us and tuning into the emotional mood within. With gentle inquiry, we name our emotions and explore their physical manifestations without judgment. Rena guides us through a series of questions, gently probing into whether these feelings are influenced by external pressures like people-pleasing or blaming others. We're then invited to envision the opposite of these emotions, to feel into a space where our emotional boundaries are strong. Through this practice, we learn to hold space for our emotions with strength and compassion, allowing them to move through us.
