'Sirāt has recently been nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Sound and made history with being the first all-female team to receive that nomination. Veronica had the opportunity to sit down with Laia Casanovas, one of the film's sound designers, to discuss what went into creating the pulse-pounding sound, the balance of intensity and quietness and how this became the project of a lifetime. 'Sirāt' will be releasing in New York and Los Angeles on February 6th and will open nationwide sometime that month.

Arco has recently been nominated for Best Animated Feature at the forthcoming 98th Academy Awards and Bryan had the opportunity to sit down with the film's director Ugo Bienvenu to discuss the film's inception, inspirations and handling of its themes of imagination, paternal abandonment and the future of technology. Bienvenu also talks about the exciting news of receiving an Oscar nomination and where he was when hearing the news. Arco is currently playing in New York and Los Angeles and will open nationwide on January 30th.
