Hello everyone, and welcome to our brand new, limited series: Star Wars Countdown, where the two Scotts will be reviewing one of the live-action Star Wars movie each week leading up to the finale of the Skywalker Saga: Star Wars Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. What's the hook of this show you might ask? The two Scotts are joined each week by a very special guest, Jay Habib, who has never seen a Star Wars movie. Welcome back for a brand new episode of Some Like It Scott! On this week's episode of the podcast, the two Scotts are dissecting what might be the most talked about movie of the year to-date, at least in terms of its meaning and relevance to society, and that is the Todd Phillips-directed, Joaquin Phoenix-led, DC villain origin story, Joker. In maybe their longest review so far, the two Scotts tackle the performances, the characters, the plot, and - maybe most of all - its themes, and make some time at the end to discuss what the point of the movie is, as well as what its legacy might be.
