Spoilt by the reading.
I enjoyed Vera Lynn's touching story of determination and warmth towards her work and family life.
The sections read by the author were lovely and one could imagine the era and all the wonderful experiences which she shared with her family and the people that she met.
It was, at first, difficult to overcome the reader's unsatisfactory delivery of the author's words - it was clipped and lost the warmth the author intended to convey.
