There's a strange idea that just because someone has a license or a degree, they're good at their job as well as ethical. Does passing an ethics class automatically make you ethical? Does having a degree automatically make you good at your job? While a degree and license does mean you've been approved by peers in the field, it doesn't always mean the person is good at what they do and/or ethical.
