  • Coming Out of the Spiritual Closet & Healing Generation Trauma

Welcome to Episode 70 of Someone Had to Say It: Coming Out of the Spiritual Closet & Healing Generation Trauma.

This morning as I was making my coffee I was thinking of the paradox of the old soul. On one hand, you hold all this ancient wisdom and there are things about life and things you just know. We tend to call them “downloads” or “intuitive hits”  And so, the majority of old souls are incredible healers, visionaries, and leaders in this lifetime.

But on the other hand… there’s this constant battle in trying to find your place in the world and who you are. There are so many parts of you that it becomes * impossible * to try and condense who you are into one offer, or a bio somewhere on a social media platform, or even just feel like “aaa this is it” and feel satisfied doing that for the rest of your life.

This week’s podcast episode is dedicated to the old souls, for the women who know this isn’t their first rodeo, but is struggling to always understand her place in this world.

Welcome to Episode 69 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, Starting Over? Listen to this, we're having an honest conversation on the energy this year has focused on: reflection, reassessment, and redirection.

Whether you’re being called to apply this to your work, your personal BTS commitments, or even your relationships. The universe wants you to really consider whether you are following your path with integrity or not.

The path of integrity is the path of fulfillment and freedom because it can only exist when it honors your values and meets your needs. (HeartLed is the PERFECT place to start if you’re not sure what these are or need to upgrade them a little 😉)

Now how do you walk this path of integrity? By being okay and mastering the art of starting over.

    Frequently, relentlessly and fiercely😮‍💨

This week’s episode of the Someone Had to Say It Podcast is a golden nugget for you to come back to whenever you’re about to start or are in the midst of an uplevel. It’s going to give you that big aerial shot to help you snap back into confident alignment.

  • Make the Law of Attraction Work for You

Welcome to Episode 68 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, Make the Law of Attraction Work for You, we're having an honest conversation around:

    • Your inside world matches your outside world
    • The biggest mistakes I see people do:
      • It's a reward or punishment system
      • There's an on/off switch
      • The universe only operates in this way
    • Training yourself to become that woman

When you're clear on your values you live in closer attunement to yourself and the universe can't help but respond to you.

  • Reasons You'll Stay: It's Time to Reassess Who Your 5 People Are

Welcome to Episode 67 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, Reasons You'll Stay: It's Time to Reassess Who Your 5 People Are, we're having an honest conversation around:

    • Level of privilege to tell people to pay to be in conversations or to pull up a seat to the table because this isn’t really accessible to a lot of people.
It’s important to know that as you invest in yourself, especially in the realm of coaching and self-development, the more you pay, in my opinion, you just start having different conversations, because a) there is more space to have deeper conversations *there’s more intimacy* - usually that is supercharged by the fact that there’s room for a relationship to develop as well. This is why I really value committing to a mentoring or coaching relationship (the length doesn’t matter within the context of this conversation), and also investing in self-development, because you’re exposed to a lot of different conversations.

  • Breast Augmentations, Implant Illness & Trauma that Lives in the Body

Welcome to Episode 66 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, Breast Augmentations, Implant Illness & Trauma that Lives in the Body, we're having an honest conversation around:

    • For the past few years, I had a manifestation in mind where I wanted to redo my breast implants, and somehow the Universe brought that manifestation to me a lot sooner
    • Breast implant illness (BII) is a collection of symptoms that occur in people with breast implants. There isn't an official medical diagnosis for BII. Symptoms may include fatigue, joint pain, brain fog, dry eyes, and many other health concerns. Healthcare providers diagnose BII by ruling out other health conditions
    • Talk about the experience when I had my first implants done at 21, from the doctor to abusive relationships (body shame and sexual trauma), the self-hate in my body
    • How I believe this manifested (amongst other things) as a disconnect from my body, autoimmune responses & adrenal fatigue
    • How this was such a real-life experience for me on how trauma lives in the body and the effect it can have
    • How my body has changed after surgery
    • Losing weight & having a changed relationship with food
    • How my sex drive has increased

  • Are You Wasting Your Own Time? Listen to this if it feels like you're always running out of time.

Welcome to Episode 65 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, Are You Wasting Your Own Time? Listen to this if it feels like you're always running out of time, we're having an honest conversation around:

    • How do you view time & productivity?
    • Generally, look at the definitions it's very input and output based
    • Especially when it comes to manifesting and healing
    • There's a lot of pressure on us to always be quantum leaping and to do things at faster speeds, continuously
    • WHEN IT COMES TO MANIFESTING: if you always feel like you're running out of time, you're automatically going to put yourself in a vibration of scarcity in everything you do. Because your default message is "I don't have enough" - even of the one thing you can't control.
    • Navigating the productivity wound as a high-achieving woman
      • I did a search to see what is out there: Words that came up in this search were: raise the standard, increase your productivity, value your productivity, the self-inflicted wound
      • An article on invisible wounds in a war noted a loss of productivity as a result As a high-achieving woman with big dreams, your relationship with time is one of the most important ones you can work on.
    • Things you would want to consider are:
      • What does time mean to me?
      • What is my relationship like with time?
      • How is my value attached to time?
    • Challenge this week: Unplug & come back to your own natural rhythms.

    • Micro pivots towards the dream you want to manifest or the life you want to have

Welcome to Episode 63 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, THE AFRIKABURN EXPERIENCE: This didn't go as expected, we're having an honest conversation around:

    • The actual experience of AfrikaBurn, what it was like camping
    • How it was different to Source - it was just us two, so the best bonding experience EVER - we even had a mantra throughout our experience.
    • How my husband went through navigating his camping ego & his divine message of the potential that happens when you get out of your own way
    • How I found peace in old connections and seeing that as a testament to the healing: you can change and still hold space for old things that used to trigger you or disrupt your peace. Just because you're healing doesn't mean you have to throw it all away.

  • It’s Not Boring – You Are Bored

Welcome to Episode 61 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, It’s Not Boring – You Are Bored, we're having an honest conversation around:

    • Not feeling challenged.
    • There's more to life.
    • Not really associating with how other people are doing things and that probably also feels super frustrating and confusing.
    • Feeling under stimulated and bored with how the mentoring / coaching industry is (means to an end becoming more ego conscious and losing sight of transparency, education and transformation (which I now highly value in everything that I produce online), how manifestation and spirituality is conceived to be.
    • How to get to your next higher self - you're playing small
    • How to recognise when you're playing small
    • Get out of your comfort zone & learn new things.
    • You know how to play here and the structure in predictability & control no longer feels exciting.
